This is about 3 kisses. While going through Jesus’ life we can see that he had accepted 3 types of kisses.

One was an obvious thing, kiss from his mother!
Second one from Judas Iscariot!
Third one from Mary Magdalene!

All these kisses are different from one another. You can not kiss Jesus like his mother did. Christians never dream to kiss Jesus’ like Judas. All that we can do is a kiss like Magdalane! To seek forgiveness! To say Sorry ! To get permission to follow Him!

This blog is not big enough to describe the real depth and breadth of biblical aspects.
Yet I am trying to say a few words about Judas!!

In my childhood, I had a doubt about Judas’ Kiss!!!

Why should Judas betray Jesus with a Kiss?

My father is a great teacher of mine. In his point of view…

“Jews [priests] afraid to catch Jesus on day time, while Jesus’ followers are with him.So they planned to catch him on night.”

“So why Judas? Why can’t Priests go ahead and catch him?”, Always I am an interrupter ! (thokkil keri vedi vekkuka ennu parayum !!)

“Jesus is a typical Jew…with mustache and beard... even he might looks like Peter or Andrew. Jews wears a scarf. So it is not so easy to identify Jesus among his disciples at night. So Priests want a man who knows Jesus well.”

“Why kiss then” – A genuine doubt right?

“Yeah… it is a very good code, isn’t it? If Judas points out Jesus with his finger, do you think that other disciples would leave him with out trouble. While kissing Jesus, other disciples never get a clue about a betrayal”

“He has many disciples…why Judas?”, I want to just confuse my father.

“yeah…he handles the money for poor and all. It is easy to corrupt a greedy man!! In Bible you can read about Judas quotes about money” [John 13:29]

Happy Good Friday !!!

Enemy can find out even a minor mistake in you; Your friend may be ready to adjust with it, hence missing a chance to correct it.

Who is better? ...Enemy gives you a chance to overlook your limitation, hence you may improve !!!

Your mind will be sharp while competing with your enemy. it brings out the best in you !!! So accompany your enemy ;-)

"Kill your enemy, even if he is your brother" - a 5000 years old philosophy

"Love your enemy, pray for them" - a 2000 years old one.

Read what Jesus says:

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
John 13:34-35

And his definition for Love might be difficult to follow :-(

⁴³:"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
^44:But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
^45: that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
^46:If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
^47:And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
^48:Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

But he was not just blabbering. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!!!

^34:Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

what I meant to say is that Baptism is not the first or final word to become a Christian.

2000 years back; A busy morning at Gabathe ( a Roman auditorium).

Jews, led by Caiaphas - the High Priest in Sanhedrin and Annas- another priest and father-in-law of Caiaphas, were waiting for Pontius Pilate, The Roman Governor, to prosecute their ‘prisoner’.

Pilate: Do you always punish your prisoners before they have judged ?
What accusations do you bring against this man?

Caiaphas: Well, if he wasn’t a malefactor, we wouldn’t have brought him before you.

Pilate: That’s not what I asked. Why don’t you judge him according to your own laws?

Caiaphas: Consul, you know ..it’s unlawful for us to condemn any man to death.

Pilate: To death ?... what has this man done to merit such a penalty?

Caiaphas: He has violated our sabath. He has seduced the people … taught foul, disgusting doctrines.

Pilate: Isn’t he the prophet you welcomed into Jerusalem only five days ago?
And now you want him dead?
Can any of you explain this madness to me?

He was referring to the Hosana Sunday.

Annas: your Excellency please…
So far the high priest hasn’t told you this man’s greatest crime.
He has become the leader of a large and dangerous sect who has hail him as Son of David!
He claims that he is the Messiah..the king promised to the Jews.
He has forbidden his followers to pay tribute to the emperor, Consul.

He beautifully changed the meaning of what Jesus had said about tax:
“Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's.”
( Daivathinullathu daivathinum, Caesar inu ullathu Caesar inum kodukkuka. )

Pilate: Bring him here ! [I desire to talk to him alone]

In fact, Pilate was surprised to see that Jews were chained their foretold King!

Pilate to Jesus: Drink… (A Ruler's decency to other King)
Are you the King of the Jews?

Jesus: Does this question come from you or Do you ask me this because others have told you that is what I am?

Pilate: Why should I ask you that ?
Am I a Jew?
Your high priest, your own people delivered you upto me.
They want me to have you executed!!!

Are you a King?

Jesus: My Kingdom is not of this world.
If it were, do you think my followers would have let them hand me over ?

Pilate: Then you are a King ?!

Jesus : That is why I was born. To give testimony to the truth.
All Men who hear the truth hear my voice.

Pilate : Truth !!! what is truth ?

(Back to Gabathe)
Pilate: I have questioned this prisoner and find no cause in him.

"Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends"

Now people are trying to crucify him again in the name of "Da Vinci Code".The people who are reluctant to believe in Bible has no doubt about this 'code'. The people who deny to have faith in Virgin Mary, has no worry to believe that Mary Megdelena was the wife of Jesus.

Which is the best to follow ; the book written by the people who lived in the time of Jesus or by the people who were born after 2000years. Neither I read the 'decoded' book nor I saw the movie, hence no further idea about it.

"Father, did Mother of Jesus attended Last supper with Jesus ?"
"Didn't you completed The Bible yet ?" he surprised
"Yes I did", Little George nodded.
"Then why this doubt at a!!"
"no nothing ..the one who lay down on the shoulder of Jesus looks like a Girl", George pointed out the lady in the picture.

"he has long hairs, no mustache ...rest of the body is not clear", George explained
Luckily his father didn't ask what he was looking at rest of the body ;-)
Father said, "See Jesus Had long hairs, Peter had , and everybody at that time had long hairs."
"But all others have mustache, this one doesn't have", George argued.
"he should be John, he is the only unmarried disciple of Jesus and so he must be too young..."
"... look your cousin Binesh... on a clean shave, even at 22, he has a pennish face(looks like a girl)"
he explained with an example.

"How dare he to lay down on Jesus' shoulder !!!", George surprised.
"Jesus loved him so much". Father seems so happy to explain that John (his name) is the most recognized by Jesus.
"that is partiality ..why Jesus loved him so much more than others", confused George.
"hey... Jesus said to love one another; doesn't meant that not no love more this one or that one.."
"... He loved John, Peter, Thomas...me ... you and all ..."
"He was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; by His wounds we are healed."
"He faced all these sufferings to pay back our sins". His father explained the core of Bible to George.

What will be easy to do ?
To Say
You have heard it said ...You shall love neighbors and hate enemy.But I say to you ... love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you...For if you love only those who love you ... what reward is there in that?

Father, forgive them ...they know not what they do.


The message of his life was very simple


Love one another. As I have loved you, so love one another.


He knew the things that are going to happen with him next day and also faced temptation not to do all these to save the men. still he is searching for his father's wish.
"Father, you can do all things. if it is possible,let this chalice pass from me... But let your will be done, not mine."

He clearly speaks with Pontius Pilate.
"My kingdom is not in this world. If it were, do you think my followers would have let them hand me over ? ... that is why I was born. To give testimony to the truth. All men hear the truth hear my voice."
but not a single word to Herod !!!


If the world hates you... remember that it has hated me first.Remmeber also that no servent is greater than his master.if they persecuted me, they will persecute you.
