Read what Jesus says:
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
John 13:34-35
And his definition for Love might be difficult to follow :-(
43:"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
44:But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45: that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
46:If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
47:And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
48:Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
Matthew 5:43-48
But he was not just blabbering. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!!!
34:Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
Luke 23:34
what I meant to say is that Baptism is not the first or final word to become a Christian.
kurachu bhuthimuttannu. It is a bit tough to be a True Christian:-(

Yes it is practically very difficult to be a Christian. When I study Jesus there are atleast two things I find difficult to grasp:
#1 Jesus said on the cross, "Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing". Why was Jesus punished? For any thing wrong he did? No! Still he had the intention to forgive. If there is a quality called forgiveness, I see the highest in Jesus.
#2 John 13:4-17
Jesus he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
6He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?"
7Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
8"No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet."
Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."
9"Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"
10Jesus answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you." 11For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
12When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. 13"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
Jesus Possessed the highest quality of Leadership.
I believe without these two qualities Christian life is nothing but fake. Peter says in his letter
1 Peter 2:21-25
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
22"He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth."
23When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
so, are you a christian yet?

@wesley: I appreciate your knowledge in Bible.
@Sonia: One day I've asked the same question myself. Hence I scribbled down this post.
@Seema: I guess, you were wrongly commented here instead for prev one.
